Born in Houston Texas on November 22, 1995

Began playing saxophone in middle school

Attended the High school for the performing and visual arts (2010 - 2014)

Bfa in saxophone Performance from the New School

(2014 - 2018)

MFA in Concert Composition from NYU

(2019 - 2021)

Credits:

studied with Jason Moran, Julia Wolfe, Michael Gordon, Joan LaBarbera, Darcy James Argue, Dave Douglas, Harish Raghavan, Mark Shim, Jane Ira Bloom, Joel Frahm, Kirk Nurock, and many wonderful others.

performed with Jason Moran, Matt Wilson, Ben Allison, Steve Cardenas, Rachel Z, Joel Frahm, Helen Sung, Don Byron, and Jacob Sacks.

performed at the Bern Jazz Festival, the United Nations, WBGO, The Menil, Mezzrow, University of Houston Jazz Festival, University of Stavanger, Cornelia Street Cafe, and Bar Next Door.

Has had pieces performed by the Jack Quartet, Two-Way Street, Dacemera’s Young Artists program, the Contemporary Music Ensemble at NYU, and the NYU Summer Woodwind Institute.
